Dutchman’s Landing Park, Catskill NY 12414
I have received confirmation from the town and am excited to be hosting the second annual Hudson River Stitch & Spin at Dutchman’s Landing Riverfront Park in Catskill, NY. Plenty of parking, real bathrooms, a snack bar and ice-cream stand, as well as a nice playground for children make this a fabulous day out for the family. You can see pictures from last year here.
The event is free to the public, with donations accepted on behalf of the park restoration fund. This is one event you don’t want to miss if you’re within driving distance. Deep-fried Oreos, spinning and stitching under the shade of a giant Maple tree, the brilliant Hudson River sparkling in the sun… what’s not to love?
This event is rain or shine and I have reserved the gazebo in case of inclement weather. Please bring your own lawn chair or picnic blanket. While purchased food is available, you could also consider bringing a picnic basket.
